Silicon Valley Executive Tapped as CMO to Accelerate Growth of Cloud Data Management Leader
ATLANTA, GA – July 9, 2014
Liaison Technologies, a global provider of secure, cloud-based data management and integration solutions, today announced the appointment of marketing veteran, Manish Gupta, as chief marketing officer. Gupta will boost market presence and further strengthen the company’s leadership position in the data management, Big Data and cloud services brokerage (CSB) markets.
The expansion of Liaison’s executive team comes on the heels of rapid year-over-year revenue growth, solution expansion and a strategic investment from Accenture. The innovation behind Liaison’s data solutions was also widely recognized by the analyst community, including Gartner, which positioned the company as a leader in its prestigious 2014 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Integration Brokerage. The cloud services brokerage category as a whole is on the fast track, with revenue from CSB sales expected to quadruple by the end of 2015.
“Manish brings a fresh approach to Liaison that will be a valuable addition to our already strong executive team,” said Bob Renner, CEO of Liaison Technologies. “His recognition in Silicon Valley and affiliation with high growth companies are tremendously beneficial to Liaison, as we continue to grow our business nationally and globally in cloud, Big Data and data management markets.”
Gupta joins Liaison as chief marketing officer with over 20 years of experience in marketing services, software, systems, and components to enterprise, communications and government segments. Prior to joining Liaison, Gupta was vice president of marketing and business development at San Jose-based Symmetricom, where he played a key role in the Nasdaq listed company’s acquisition for a significant premium over the then current market valuation. Gupta has led global marketing teams and has helped companies scale through brand development, strategic planning, efficient portfolio management, creative demand generation programs and revenue driving alliances.
“Liaison is extremely well positioned at the intersection of cloud services and Big Data in large verticals,” said Gupta. “I look forward to working with the leadership team to strengthen the company brand, drive acceptance of solutions in broader markets, and establish ecosystem programs that will accelerate growth.”
